Title: Let There be Color!
Artist: Natasha Radovicz Schaidt
Statement: Individually rolled by hand, made of construction paper and glue with lengths of wire for the stem, “Let There be Color!” consists of one thousand multi-colored flowers. Inspiration came in the form of wildflowers scattered along the sides of SR-46 during the Spring and Summer months. Like those wildflowers; this piece will create an environment of visually stimulating experiences, capturing the essence of winding roadsides in full bloom within a highly (over)manicured landscape. My given area will be peppered with a warm pallet of yellow, orange, and red, bringing more color to our campus’ courtyard.
